The canyon road is a single lane each direction and subject to closures and chain requirements during winter storms; UDOT can close it entirely for avalanche control. Mountain America Exposition Center

Loveland Living Planet Aquarium
Loveland Living Planet Aquarium is Utah's largest aquarium, located approximately four miles south of Sandy's center in neighboring Draper. Utah Olympic Park
Utah Olympic Park is the legacy site of the 2002 Winter Olympics, hosting the bobsled, luge, skeleton, and ski jumping events that put Utah on the world stage. Today it's a year-round adventure destination open to the public, with a museum, zip lines, freestyle skiing demonstrations, and public bobsled rides. Located approximately 30 miles northeast of Sandy via I-215 East and US-40, the park is about a 35–45 minute drive off-peak.
